Singapore for First- Timers

It’s been more than a year already since we first set foot in Singapore, finally after several invitations by Gil’s best friend Dhel. Thanks to Air Philippine’s irresistible P888 promo, we were able to book RT air tickets for two for only P5,434.00. Glad to have booked AirPhil as well because unlike other budget airlines, AirPhil’s terminal (and PAL) is in Changi Terminal 2- the more upscale airport in Sg. Quite a warm welcome for first timers like us! J

I thought our flight comes with free meal, hindi pla! Sabi ko pa kay Gil, bili muna tayo kahit snacks lng, isi-serve na rin nmn cguro ung free meal. hehe! (Ensaymada & Gatorade at P50 each)

The three-hour flight from Manila to Singapore was a breeze. Before we knew it, we've already landed. Welcome to Changi International Airport!

It’s my first international travel and Gil’s second, next to Japan. I was mesmerized the moment we landed in Singapore. Airport pa lang, ang ganda na!

We took our time strolling around the airport not knowing Chel- Dhel’s wife- has been waiting for us in the arrival area for hours already since Dhel was sick at that time.

We had the limo cab on the way to Dhel & Chel’s flat in woodlands. Cars are right handed, cash and all cards (Credit Card, EZ link, etc) accepted. Sosyal! 

The sceneries on the way are all beautiful. The couple’s flat as well is beautiful. That moment I started to like Singapore, parang dream come true lang (though I never really dreamed of Singapore before) J

 With my favorite Sinigang na Sugpo for dinner, our Day 1 in Singapore was indeed perfect!

 The following day, we woke up early and was greeted by this view across the glass wall. Such a nice way to start the day! After the breakfast, we prepared our things up...excited for the whole day Sentosa escapade!
