Savoring Classic Savory

Had tasted another blogworthy Pinoy deli at Classic Savory last Friday courtesy of Sheng (Gil's sisterette) after we accompanied her to buy WOW Premium Magic Sing (original price less 2k worth of discount provided sa SM daw binili) which we enjoyed till the wee hours as we sing our hearts out. :)

Classic Savory is another reason to visit SM Megamall located at the lower ground floor, near the previously Bowling area (CS is side-by-side with another NEW resto in the mall, the A Veneto--which we sampled ages ago.lol! See link here).

We were there around 8pm and surprised to see the the resto jampacked, as in muntik nang sa table sa labas kmi pumwesto. The moment we were seated, they set our table and gave us the menu (baka magbago pa isip nmin? lol)

taken after roughly two hours of stay...wala na masyadong tao.

paorder...paorder (parang Parokya lang)

CS famous tenderest and juiciest (as they claim) chicken (check!)
The pancit canton that I've been longing to taste again since I first tasted it years back (check)
Sweet and sour pork which Sheng strongly suggested (check)
Plain rice and tropical coolers for two (check)
Sweet endings of special turon to sum it all up (check)

...and so we had Classic Savory Combo C for only P385 . Winner!

Classic Chicken to its perfection--even without the gravy

Love their Pancit Canton ewan ba! :)

But since rice is good for two only, we ordered additional Savory fried rice for P195 without any idea of its big servings. It actually satisfied the three of us, leaving the plain rice a bit untouched.

Ahm,Okay!

We had a single order too of Sweet and Sour pork for P195 since sample size lng ung sa combo. Did I mention Sweet and Sour pork (fish or anything with sweet and sour sauce) is my personal fave? Yep, and this is one of the best I've tasted for it's crunchy on the outside but tender inside. Samahan pa ng generous chunks of pineapple, bell pepper at onions, crunchy saraapp! :)

Saucy y-U-m-M-y Sweet and Sour pork

Additinal tropical cooler and another round of photo ops and we're on our way pigging out.

didn't like though...matabang. Half juice half yelo!

Our humble table! :)

'I wish he's here!'- Sheng

mejo madilim lng sa side ko (defensive! Haha!)

Btw, Sheng was hesitant at first to dine at CS for it has been one of her and bf Igi's favorite resto. Seaman kz si Igi who was on board for around four months na ata kaya sad sya.  But since makulit kmi ni Gil, napilit narin nmin sya sa CS. Take note: It's her treat! :)

Simu't sarap Classic Savory experience. Thanks Sheng! :)

Two thumbs up for Classic Savory!
...Till next time! :)
