Moon Garden’s kitchen is open only till 5pm but they could extend and accommodate guests upon prior requests. Good thing we’re able to discuss it with Renz, the guest relation officer slash wait staff, upon arrival and have one of their lovely nipa huts reserved for a perfect dinner date tonight at 7pm.
After we’re done with the photo ops of MG at night, we headed to this lovely gazebo with comfy sofas and pillows and wooden table where the dinner will be served, which was as if floating in the middle of the pond.
We ordered (in advance) Pasta Osso Buco- P240.00 and a set menu of Paksiw na Cochinillo (since Cochinillo- baby pig lechon de leche- should be ordered a day before), bread basket with pesto and humus spreads, vegetable salad with two homemade dressings, dessert of Crunchy Pinipig and a glass of dalandan juice, all for P530.00. (Prices are exclusive of VAT with NO service charge).
Basket of warm Ciabata Bread with Pesto and Humus spreads.
Vegetable Salad with two homemade dressings.

Pasta Osso Buco- Italian style Beef stew with tomato & olives
Dessert of Crispy Pinipig
The food was great and the ambiance was perfect! Servings were sumptuous we only able to finish half of the pasta and cochinillo. It’s supposed to be a candlelit dinner but since it was alfresco, the lights never lasted. Renz provided us this cute lamp instead, just same dimly lit effect.
(TIP: An order of Set Menu would be enough for two already unless you wanted to try out other listings on their menu).
The dinner lasted for 1.5hours. Aside from Renz who was patiently waiting in a distance and serving us foods one at a time, there was only a couple we saw that also had their dinner on the other nipa hut. Truly a private moment with someone especial combined with a relaxing atmosphere, good food and perfect setting! ^,^
Not until we felt like chilling, we’ll never leave yet the gazebo. But since it was barely cold (and late already for the staff), we decided to head on to our casita, our home for the night.
